The Permian softball team will also look to solidify its postseason chances from District 2-6A as the Lady Panthers travel north to face Amarillo Tascosa at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The Lady Panthers (18-10-2 overall, 4-4 district) currently sit tied with Midland Lee for third place with two games remaining. They are also in good position after earning the head-to-head tiebreaker with Midland High after a 5-4 victory Friday.

A Midland High loss Tuesday would also clinch a playoff spot for Permian.

The Lady Panthers defeated Tascosa 10-0 in five innings back on March 26 at the Ratliff Softball Complex.
