Permian girls basketball team had a tough night offensively as the Lady Panthers fell 65-20 to Wolfforth Frenship on Friday night at the Tiger Pit.

Frenship (23-3, 3-0 District 2-6A) led 23-0 after one quarter and built up a 37-1 lead at halftime.

Cassandra Awatt and Abre Godfrey each had 12 points to lead the way for the Lady Tigers.

Asiah Thomas led the Lady Panthers (10-15, 0-3) in scoring with six points on the night.

Permian returns home for its next when they host crosstown rival Odessa High at 6 p.m. Tuesday night at the Permian Fieldhouse.
