LUBBOCK The Permian girls basketball team won and lost two games each at the Caprock tournament this weekend.

The Lady Panthers started the tournament with an overtime loss to Lubbock Coronado and then fell to Lubbock Estacado.

Permian rebounded to finish the tournament with wins over Wichita Falls Rider and El Paso Socorro.

The Lady Panthers enter District 2-6A play with a record of 10-9 and start district play Friday with a home game against Midland Lee.
